We look back on a successful GAMM Annual Meeting 2022 in Aachen with 1049 participants from 30 countries and 876 presentations. Young and experienced scientists exchanged their work and ideas, friendships were cultivated and new collaborations were initiated at the welcome reception and the conference dinner. We would like to thank all participants, speakers and especially the organizing team. A very special thank you also goes to RWTH for providing the facilities and support in all areas. We look forward to seeing you again at GAMM Annual Meeting 2023 in Dresden!

The 2020 IntSpire Prize went to the Institute of General Mechanics, represented by Professor Markert, for special services to internationalization at RWTH. Rector Professor Ulrich Rüdiger awarded the prize in a virtual ceremony on March 11, 2021.
