The shock wave laboratory has the following characteristics:

  • Two shock wave tubes: One tube for plates with a diameter of 138 mm and one for larger test specimens with a diameter of 553 mm
  • The high pressure part (HD) is 5.3m long, the low pressure part (ND) 6.3m
